The newly named Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Tennessee is excited to announce it is searching for two faculty (tenured/tenure-track) to join our expanding School as assistant and/or associate professors in public relations. The Tombras School has growing enrollment in both majors (advertising and public relations), a new minor, and a new 4+1 graduate degree program. Position announcement: University of Waikato

The School of Management and Marketing, University of Waikato, New Zealand, is hiirng a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Public Relations.
Share your research-informed expertise in Public Relations. Inspire the next generation of management leaders.

You will need to have a PhD in Public Relations, or a closely related discipline, with knowledge in as many of the following areas as possible: Media Relations and Publicity, Public Relations Writing, Stakeholder and Community Engagement, Issues and Crisis Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Licence. You will apply your teaching skills, including the ability to lecture to large classes as well as conducting small group seminars and tutorials effectively. You will be motivated to be involved in all aspects of teaching and learning, including developing research-informed material, and delivering content in innovative ways both face-to-face and online. You will be a supportive supervisor of graduate and postgraduate students and their research, alongside your own established and high-level record of impactful research, relevant to Public Relations.

The 4 pillars of the role include: Teaching and Learning: Preparing and delivering innovative, research-informed lectures and the assessment of that learning; Supervision: Supervise honours, graduate and postgraduate students; Research: Conduct and contribute to quality, impactful research Service; and Administration: Carry out administration and service relevant to the role.
Current salary range for Lecturers is from NZ$80,837 to NZ$97,051 and for Senior Lecturers from NZ$99,780 to NZ$130,902 per year, salary will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.

The School of Management and Marketing is part of the Waikato Management School at the University of Waikato. It offers a total of seven majors and nine minors within the Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons) and Bachelor of Business degrees. It also offers the Bachelor of Communication degree along with numerous Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas, plus Postgraduate qualifications including Masters, and PhD degrees.
